1⁄4 cup soy sauce
1⁄4 cup rice wine vinegar
2 1⁄2 teaspoons sugar
1⁄2 medium scallion, chopped
2 teaspoons minced peeled fresh ginger
1⁄2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and drizzle over dumplings or use as a dip.
